Post Offices

Marked by red “Correios” sign, post offices are open from 8.30 a.m. until 6.00 p.m. The main post office in Praça dos Restauradores is open from 8 am until 10.00 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 9.00 a.m. until 6.00 p.m. at weekends and on public holidays. The airport post office offers a permanent postal, telephone and faxing services.

Throughout the city, “Correios” located several multi-lingual, red-colored stamp machines where stamps can be bought and sent easily without going to the post office.

Telephones

Lisbon has phone boots and pay phones everywhere. Portuguese Telecom offers phone cards in 50, 100 or 150 units and can be purchased at newsagents, kiosks, post offices and at the reception desk of most hotels.
