Gays and lesbians in Lisbon are respected as the city itself offers thriving gay scene with lots of bars, night clubs, restaurants, cafes, saunas and beaches. Most of the “gay-friendly” places located in the quarters of Bairro Alto, Chiado and Princípe Real.
