From the Airport
Aerobus & Aeroshuttle
Carristur’s Aerobus links the airport with the city centre and the main hotels. It runs daily from 7am to 11pm with the departures every 20 minutes. Aerobus service is complemented by Aeroshuttle, extending the existing network of coverage in order to satisfy the demand of the city enlargement. The Aeroshuttle service has been created in order to establish a connection between Parque das Nações, the Airport and the City Center. This service enables also the access to Bus Terminal at Sete Rios, Bus and Train Terminal at Gare do Oriente and Metro. It operates from 7am to 11pm with the departures every 30 minutes.
The ticket is valid for 24 hours, costs 3,50 € and can be used for both services as well as in the public transport network of Carris (buses, trams, funiculars). The holders of the ticket can also enjoy a 25% discount on Carristur’s Hop on Hop of Sightseeing tours leaving from Praça do Comércio.
Airport 24 Hours Taxi Voucher
For those who want to avoid potential problems with dishonesty, however a bit expensive, Lisbon Tourism Office (Associação de Turismo de Lisboa) located in the Airport arrivals offers pre-paid taxi rides. Rates varies on a basis of km: € 0,35 per km. An increase of 20% applies to normal fares from Monday to Friday between 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Plus an extra small fee for the luggage.
Buses
Buses of CARRIS operate the line between the Airport and the different locations of the city center. Lines: 5, 58, 22, 44, 45 and 83.
